Editing Your Site (Just Tell Omni)
Most site changes happen by talking to Omni in plain language. Here is how to swap sections, change copy, and tune your design.
Last updated: 2026-04-29
You do not edit your Omnovo site by dragging blocks around or typing into fields. You tell Omni what you want changed, in your own words. They make the edit, you approve it, it goes live.
How It Works
Omni is the floating chat in the bottom-right corner of your dashboard. Open it and say what you want. Examples:
- “Change the headline on the home page to ‘Roofing Done Right, Done Once.’”
- “Swap the testimonials section for a before-and-after gallery.”
- “Update my phone number across the whole site to 859-555-0142.”
- “Make my About page sound a little less formal.”
- “Add a ‘Financing Available’ banner at the top of every page.”
Omni interprets the request, generates the edit, and routes it through your normal approval flow. You see exactly what is changing before it ships.
What Omni Can Do
| Type of edit | Example |
|---|---|
| Copy edits | Headlines, body paragraphs, CTAs, FAQ questions, founder story |
| Section swaps | Replace a testimonials section with a gallery, swap a service grid for a comparison table |
| Section additions | Add a new section to any page (FAQ, gallery, certifications, financing banner) |
| Section removals | Hide or delete sections you do not want |
| Page additions | Add a new service page, a new service area page, a coupon page |
| Style tuning | Adjust the look of a section using one of the Site Style libraries (Bold, Minimal, Editorial, etc.) |
| Contact info changes | Phone, email, hours, address — across every page that uses them |
What Omni Cannot Do
- Brand-level changes that contradict your approved Brand Bible. If you want to change your tagline, voice, or color palette, that is a Brand Bible refinement (see Your Brand Bible).
- Pricing edits that need plan-level approval. You can mention prices on your site, but we always route those through manual review.
- Custom code or arbitrary HTML. Omnovo sites are built from a tested component library, not freeform HTML. If you need something the library does not cover, email support@omnovo.com and we will look at adding it.
- Edits to other businesses. Omni only sees and edits your tenant.
The Approval Step
Every Omni edit shows you a side-by-side preview before publishing:
- Left: what your site looks like now
- Right: what it will look like after the change
Tap Approve to publish. Tap Hold if you want to think about it. Tap Edit to send Omni back with corrections.
Approved edits typically deploy within 60 seconds. The change is on Cloudflare’s global CDN, so visitors see the new version everywhere on Earth almost instantly.
Site Styles
Each Omnovo site is built on a Site Style — a coordinated visual library that controls how every section looks. Current libraries include Bold, Minimal, Editorial, Trade, and a few more. You can ask Omni to swap to a different Site Style at any time, and the whole site re-renders in the new look without losing your content.
When To Edit Through Omni vs Through The Dashboard
For 95% of changes, talk to Omni. It is faster than clicking through a CMS.
For a few things — managing team members, billing, integration tokens, autonomy settings — use Settings in the dashboard directly.
Bulk Or Complex Edits
If you have a long list of changes (like a full rewrite of your services), drop them all into one Omni message. Omni will batch them and propose them as a single approval. Less back and forth.
