Cancelling and Exporting Your Data
How to cancel, what you take with you on the way out, and our refund policy. No vendor lock-in, ever.

You can cancel any time. We do not believe in lock-in, surprise renewals, or making you call to cancel. The whole flow is in the dashboard and takes about a minute.
How To Cancel
- Open Settings → Billing
- Click Cancel subscription
- We ask you to type
CONFIRM OFFBOARDING(this prevents accidental clicks) - Click Confirm
That kicks off the offboarding sequence below. Your subscription is canceled in Stripe immediately, and you are not charged again.
What Happens In The Next 60 Seconds
- Site export — we package your live website as a static HTML zip and upload it to secure storage. You get a link.
- Data export — we package every other piece of data we hold for you (Brand Bible, social posts, leads, reviews, contacts, billing history) as CSV and JSON files. You get a link.
- Tenant archive — your workspace is archived. The site goes offline. Connected providers (Google, Facebook, etc.) are disconnected.
- Stripe cancellation — confirmed.
- 30-day cooling off period — your data stays archived for 30 days in case you want to come back.
What You Take With You
The export bundle includes:
- Your full website as static HTML, CSS, JS, and images. You can host it anywhere — Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare Pages, even an old web host. It works without us.
- Your Brand Bible as a JSON file you can open in any text editor
- All your leads with timestamps, contact info, and which page they came from
- All reviews and replies we synced or published
- All social posts we drafted or published, with platform metadata
- Your media library — every photo and asset uploaded to your account
- Domain ownership — if we registered it through us, the registration stays in your name. We help you transfer it to your own Porkbun account or to another registrar at no charge.
The download links are valid for 7 days. After that, you can request fresh links by emailing support@omnovo.com.
What You Do NOT Lose
- Your Google Business Profile. It stays yours. We just lose access to read or post.
- Your social accounts. Same — you keep them, we lose OAuth access.
- Your domain. Yours forever, no matter where you go.
The Cooling-Off Window
For 30 days after cancellation, your data stays archived. If you change your mind, email support@omnovo.com and we will reactivate your workspace exactly where you left off — Brand Bible, site, history, everything. No re-onboarding.
After 30 days, the hard-delete job runs and your data is permanently removed from our systems. We do not keep customer data forever.
Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day refund if you cancel within 14 days of your first paid invoice and you have not had a site go live. This covers the “I changed my mind” case.
Once your site has been built, deployed, and is live, refunds are not automatic — but if something has genuinely gone wrong on our end, email support@omnovo.com and we will work it out. Real conversations, not policy walls.
For cancellations after the 14-day window, your subscription stays active through the end of the current billing period (that is what you already paid for) and does not renew. No prorated refund for partial months.
Annual Plans
If you cancel an annual plan partway through the year, the 14-day refund window applies the same way. After that window, the subscription stays active through the end of the prepaid year. You can stop using Omnovo any time, but we do not prorate annual plan refunds beyond the first 14 days.
Pause Instead Of Cancel
If your business is seasonal — say you are a landscaper in Kentucky and December is dead — you can pause your subscription instead of canceling. Settings → Billing → Pause subscription. Your site stays live, social and review activity pause, you are not charged. Resume any time. Pausing is available on Growth and Pro.
