How Omnovo manages social media on your behalf — connecting accounts, generating content, and publishing posts.

How Social Publishing Works
Omnovo creates and publishes social media content for your business automatically. Every post is written in your brand voice (based on your Brand Bible), tailored to each platform, and scheduled for optimal engagement.
You stay in control — every post goes through your approval before it’s published, unless your account has shifted to Autopilot (see below).
Connecting Your Accounts
From your dashboard, open Social → Integrations (route: /social/accounts) to connect:
- Facebook — Business page posts
- Instagram — Feed posts (requires Business or Creator account)
- Google Business Profile — Updates and offers
- LinkedIn — Company page posts
- X (Twitter) — Tweets
- TikTok — Videos
- YouTube — Videos and community posts
Connecting is a simple OAuth flow — you’ll be redirected to each platform to authorize Omnovo to post on your behalf. We never access your personal accounts or messages, only the business pages and profiles you explicitly connect. Full walkthrough in Connecting your social + review accounts.
Content Generation
Our AI generates platform-specific posts based on your Brand Bible. This means:
- Facebook posts are conversational and community-oriented
- Instagram captions are visual-first with relevant hashtags
- Google Business Profile updates are optimized for local search
- LinkedIn posts are professional and industry-relevant
- X posts are concise and direct
Posts fall into four types: promotional (offers, services), educational (tips, how-tos), seasonal (holidays, weather, local events), and review response (replies to incoming reviews). Each post is unique — no copy-paste across platforms.
Platform-Specific Constraints
Each platform has its own character and hashtag limits. Omnovo writes within them automatically, but it’s useful to know the rough budget:

If a generated post would blow past a limit on a specific platform, Omnovo automatically tightens the copy for that platform — you’ll get the same idea expressed differently per channel.
Approval Workflow
By default, all posts require your approval before publishing:
- Omnovo generates a batch of posts for the upcoming period.
- Posts appear in your Approvals inbox (top-level dashboard nav under “Your Business”).
- You review each post and either Approve or Reject. To edit before approving, change the copy or schedule inline on the approval detail page, then click Approve — there isn’t a separate “Edit” button.
- Approved posts move into Social with status

Autopilot Mode (After 30 Days)
On Growth and Pro plans, after 30 days of active management, the platform transitions to negative consent automatically — Autopilot isn’t a toggle you flip, it just turns on. From that point:
- Pending posts still appear in Approvals as normal.
- If you don’t reject or edit within 3 days, the post auto-approves and publishes at its scheduled time.
- You can still review, edit, or reject any post at any time — Autopilot just means you don’t have to.
High-risk content is always excluded from auto-approval — review replies to one- or two-star reviews, posts mentioning pricing changes, anything flagged by our policy checks for compliance-sensitive language. Those always require explicit human approval.
Scheduling
Posts are scheduled for times that maximize engagement on each platform. You don’t need to worry about when to post — we handle timing based on industry best practices and your audience’s activity patterns.
If you want a specific post to go out at a particular time, you can set a custom schedule when approving it.
Manual Posting
Want to create your own post? Open the Compose page in your dashboard at /social/compose to write a post from scratch. You can:
- Write your own copy or use AI to help draft it
- Select which platforms to publish to
- Schedule it for later or publish immediately
- Preview how it will look on each platform
Manual posts still go through your Brand Bible’s voice guidelines to help maintain consistency, but you have full control over the final content.
